Frumpy

Frumpy are a German krautrock/progressive rock band active 1969–1972 and again 1990–1995. The classic lineup featured vocalist Inga Rumpf with Jean-Jacques Kravetz (organ), Rainer Baumann (guitar), Karlheinz Schott (bass), and Carsten Bohn (drums). They are best known for the album Frumpy 2 and the song “how the gipsy was born.”
