LA RECENSIONE

Hola Amigos, well, I'm about to describe this nice review...

Turin, a mosquito-filled evening, hot and humid, teeming with vendors of everything, rivers of beer, sweaty people; well, it seems like the right place for a concert!

The evening kicks off with the opening band, 'Sons And Daughters', who almost no one paid attention to. After 45 minutes of waiting, here they are; I had never seen them before. Aesthetics: well, zero tattoos, dressed like sailors from the old USSR or, if you prefer, like in Jean Paul Gaultier’s best outings, so horizontally striped black and white t-shirts, black pants, and boots that clash a bit with the thirty-plus degree evening! They really seem like nerds or, if you prefer, losers.

Anyway, it starts with a nice mixed fry from the latest album, interspersed with the songs that made them known to the general public, such as "Let me out" "Jaqueline", etc. They move well on stage and create engagement with all the people present. The crowd ignites especially with "Micheal", performed after almost two hours of concert.
They exhaust their entire repertoire, including a cover of "Bella ciao", yes, that one. After the usual fake exit, they resume and conclude with a number involving a multiple drum performance, which is quite effective. Well, I liked their first album, the second less so; their technique isn't outstanding, but they really go for it, and in my opinion, there are few bands that play for two hours like they do.

Even if you don't like them, if they come near you, go listen to the young Scots; they might be a pleasant surprise. Ciao
