Frank Miller (born January 27, 1957) is an American comic book writer, artist and film-maker, known for seminal works such as The Dark Knight Returns, Sin City, 300 and Ronin.

Miller's Sin City first appeared serialized in Dark Horse Presents in 1991. The Dark Knight Returns was published in 1986. Ronin was a 1983–84 six-issue miniseries (colors by Lynn Varley). 300 and Ronin were colored by Lynn Varley (as noted in reviews). An unused/alternate Robocop script by Miller was later published as a comic album scripted with Steven Grant and illustrated by Juan José Ryp (details referenced in reviews).
