THE REVIEW

One of the milestones of Italian live albums. In 1979, two great artists: I Nomadi and Francesco Guccini, held a concert together. We could define it as a symbol that would show the Nomadi crowd and Guccini fans the strong relationship between these two pillars of Italian music.

The album opens with a "Canzone per un'amica" in Guccini's style, with cheerful and "extremely carefree" music and rather sad lyrics. It is followed by a beautiful "Atomica cinese," which talks about pollution, acid rain, and with a rather related theme "Noi non ci saremo," where it describes the land that one day will revolt against the tyrannies of man, destroying and starting all over again, words like: "And the summer wind coming from the sea, will intone a song among a thousand ruins, among the debris of the cities, among houses and buildings, which slow time will crumble" accompanied by guitar chords in the Emilian style.

Album that re-proposes great hits like "Dio è morto,” which was censored by RAI and aired on Vatican Radio (similar to what was done to De André) and "Per fare un uomo.” The moving "Auschwitz (La canzone del bambino nel vento)," and others. Personally, I also really liked the music, 70s folk-rock style.

In conclusion, I find it right that everyone should know and be able to listen to this live album, for those who were there and for those who are not yet so "old"...
