Great Francesco, a bit aged but incredibly the same!! A concert especially appreciated by the audience from Macerata, initially scheduled for August 3rd, postponed to the 28th due to bad weather. The splendid scenery of the Sferisterio arena with its two-hundred-year-old stones offered fans a show of rare beauty and mysticism.

Concert scheduled for 9 PM, lights go out around 10, and the eager crowd welcomes Francesco with a roar. A slightly limping De Gregori on his way to the stage, but the voice the same as 30 years ago, warm, deep, penetrating. It starts with songs from the new album, all rearranged with a decidedly rock tone, and with a pounding Svampa on the drums like a madman. "Il panorama di Betlemme", "Passato remoto", "Testa nel secchio", but also many of the previous gems, "Cercando un altro Egitto", "Generale", "Rimmel", "Titanic", "La leva del 68", "Niente da capire". Then a splendid "La donna cannone" accompanied only by the piano for the entire duration, enchanting and making the audience dream. Around the two-hour mark of the concert, De Gregori introduces the band and bids us farewell with the new single "Vai in africa celestino"; he exits amid the "applause of the paying audience", but the relentless cheers of the fans force him back, it couldn’t end there... It starts again with "Il bandito e il campione", then a splendid acoustic "Pezzi di vetro", "Gambadilegno a Parigi" and it finishes with...buonanotte, buonanotte fiorellino...

I'm giving it a rating of 4 because I would have really loved to hear "Pablo", "Alice", "Quattro cani",... but it’s more than fine like this. magical-magical-magical see it to believe it.
