Disease, manipulation, suffering, sadness. These are the ingredients of this miserable music album coming from our Po Valley. The genre offered is a dark-doom-black metal that perfectly blends elements from the now-defunct Dolorian, early Katatonia, and Burzum, especially concerning the vocal style. In some sick arpeggios, one can even hear echoes of Anathema's early works.

The great virtue of Herr Morbid (the only member of the band) in this first opus is having sublimely amalgamated all these influences. The first few minutes of the album are enough to understand how depressive and manipulative it can be. Three words for the usual skeptics and prejudiced: it deserves a listen.

63 min of mind-disturbing & suicidal Depressive Dark Black Metal.

An album that passively flows, that slips away without jolts, without stirring much emotion.

Morbid’s voice, filtered, effected, distorted, almost to the point of not sounding human, making it impossible to transmit... sadness, depression.
