THE REVIEW

We enter a small venue in Santiago, Chile, the Föllakzoid are playing. Feeling a bit lost, we look around, beautiful girls, we head straight to the bar, a few shots to get into the mood of the place, good Tequila!

The band, a quartet, takes the stage, time to adjust the amplifiers and "9" starts. A huge surprise, the walls of the venue disappear and we are projected into orbit, a journey into the cosmos.

Good Tequila.

The songs follow one another and it's a continuous call to kraut, to space rock. Neu, Can, Hawkwind, invite us to a cosmic dance and off we go for another shot.

On liquid textures reminiscent of Tangerine Dream, acid, elongated reverberated guitars soar and a distant voice covered by effects cranked to the max.

The presence of Neu in "Trees" is tangible, mechanical cadences on a mirror of water, a liquid sound that personally brought to mind the journeys of Moon Duo and Psychic Ills, but maybe it's the alcohol!

5 long tracks, a long, liquid, hypnotic psychedelic trance. A smile to the stars, never been so close.

The gates to the cosmos are not in Germany but on the snowy peaks of the Andes.
