LA RECENSIONE

FOLKAMISERIA – FOLLIA (OnAirish)

Folkamiseria are finally back with their fourth album: "Follia"

From the title alone, you can sense the band's mindset, which aims to fully represent the instability of its members and their approach to music.

As for what the album contains, the matter isn't so simple.

Follia is indeed a mosaic of musical genres, impressions, and sensations.

From folk to rock, from blues to reggae, from melancholy to a festive atmosphere, from lightheartedness to grit, the album is all this and much more.

Moreover, the album features three special guests: Cisco (vocals on "Un bicchiere"), Lorenzo Monguzzi (who offers spoken parts on "Fernet Blues" after having revised the entire album's lyrics), and Turin's Bandakadabra (whose swing arrangements set "Caffeina" ablaze).
