5 reasons why I decided to review this masterpiece:

- I waited in vain for someone to do it, but nothing

- the author has the "CSN" mark - but let's add a "Y" too, branded into their musical DNA

- two of the three members, namely Ben Harper and Dhani Harrison (yes, indeed, the son of George Harrison) skate and wear Vans

- there's Uncle Jim Keltner on drums - God bless him!

- I'm really curious about what CSN, and also Y, think of this new supergroup here

It was supposed to be a solo album by Joseph Arthur, painter, writer, and folk singer with a very beautiful vocal timbre, but, one thing led to another, and suddenly the three young lovers of vocal harmonies found themselves in the coolest neofolk studio of Santa Monica and, acoustic guitars in hand, gave birth to this little work in just three days - let's face it, it's NOT that you can't hear it...!

...the pasta is missing quite a bit of sauce, there's something cute, like the final "With Whom You Belong", the "clappy" "Father's Son", and even the instrumental "30 Bones" is not bad overall; the only gem is "Things Go 'Round".

It is true that beauty is often found in the simplest things, but here I think they've gone overboard, both in the lyrics and the melodies.

However, word has it that they're much better live... who knows...

But I would send these guys back to September, and not with much "mercy"!

A 2.5 barely pulled to a 3 for the reasons mentioned above.
