FischerSpooner is not a duo.
FischerSpooner is a philosophy.
Second album, after the hit "Emerge", and after securing a £1 million contract with Ministry of Sound, Warren Fischer and Casey Spooner redefine and shape our musical perception once again.
Compared to "#1", Odyssey sounds more rock, more organic, breaking free from pop, electro, and new wave classification schemes, projecting a unique and defined sound, pure avant-garde of the electronic scene, even if "#1" might be more visionary.
"A Kick In The Teeth" is perhaps the highest point of the album, "Get Confused" whose cerebral lyrics were written by David Byrne, "Just Let Go" possibly the track closest to "Emerge", the debut single, "Cloud", "Never Win", form vivid melodies, perfectly constructed musical scenarios, a reflective and ambitious atmosphere.
An album that will appeal to those who love complex and elaborate rock records, those who are in search of new horizons.
And not only musical ones.
