Single DeBaser review praises Firefall's 1976 debut as exemplary country-rock with strong harmonies and precise solos. Highlights include Burnett's vocal performance and the tracks "Cinderella" and the hit "You Are The Woman." The review places the band among 1970s California-style country-rock acts and notes members' pedigrees.

For:Listeners of 1970s country rock and classic soft-rock; fans of the Eagles, Poco, Dan Fogelberg, and similar acts.

As an old fan of country rock (more rock than country, though… that is, staying away from cowboy hats, lace blouses, shrill female voices, saccharine violin solos, etc.… in short, more California than Nashville), I hold the Eagles, Poco, Dan Fogelberg, James Taylor, and finally Firefall at the top of my appreciation and listening habits in this category.
