Debut EP for Fingers To The Bone, a band that includes members from other groups in the national alternative metal scene such as Addiction96 and TerminalSick. Although strong in spreading their hardcore origins, this new project finds its strength in experimentation, moving with great ease towards more metal oriented shores (particularly crossover), showing themselves ready and with good ideas all in the development phase. A phase "under construction" that is strongly felt in the six songs offered here, strong with the usual aggressive hardcore spirit and at the same time heavy enough to slightly confuse us about their intentions. In such a case, we are not talking about metalcore, but rather an artistically open path to any possible solution, which is not a bad thing, but something that for sure could destabilize both the hardcore kid and those of you who were more accustomed to what crossover taught years ago. Adding even more impact to Fingers To The Bone are Giuseppe Bassi (Dualized) and Eddy Cavazza (Dysfunction) in production and the voice of Gaio (from Bologna's Damn City) on the title track. A mini EP that is therefore very enjoyable for anyone who doesn't have too many concerns related to its style, with a couple of tracks that will thrill the live audience as they really push hard on the accelerator but that places us in front of a band that - for now - still needs to clearly determine the path to take.
