Fiction Plane is a British alternative rock band fronted by Joe Sumner (vocals, bass). They are known for albums such as Everything Will Never Be OK, Left Side of the Brain, Sparks, and Mondo Lumina, and for serving as an opening act on The Police reunion tour.

Frontman Joe Sumner is Sting’s son; the band opened for The Police on their 2007–08 reunion tour.

One review praises Fiction Plane’s Left Side of the Brain for tight rhythms, catchy melodies, and distinctive vocals, with ‘Two Sisters’ singled out as the standout track. ‘Death Machine’ and ‘Anyone’ also get nods, plus the acoustic ‘Drink.’ Some repetition and a couple of fillers are noted.
