I haven't heard a pop-rock album like this perhaps since the days of "(What's The Story?) Morning Glory" by Oasis or "The Man Who" by Travis.
Here the Feeder give their best, even facing the loss of their drummer, who died by suicide in 2002 and enlisting former Skunk Anansie drummer Mark Richardson after 7 months...

It starts with one of the most beautiful and saddest pop ballads of recent years, "Just The Way I'm Feeling," which in the initial chords closely recalls "Wonderwall," accompanied by an equally melancholic video that can metaphorically represent a beautiful dream that just ended...
Moving forward, you arrive at two tracks with a slightly harder sound, like "Come Back Around" and "Helium," and you realize that it's not an album that will put us to sleep, then arriving at calmer and more thoughtful songs like "Child In You" and "Comfort In Sound"...
Heart-wrenching "Summer's Gone," dedicated to Jon Lee (the late drummer).
Epic, finally, are the last two songs, "Love Pollution" and "Moonshine".

A criminally under-promoted album, perhaps to make room for stuff like chihuahua and asereje (purposely written in lowercase, they don't deserve even the slightest consideration...).
Listening to this album means immersing yourself for about three-quarters of an hour in a world made of very calm pop alternated with slightly more intense chapters but not for that unlistenable, on the contrary...

"...you feel the moments come to soon..."
