Federico Buffa

Italian journalist, sports commentator and storyteller. Began his career in the late 1970s and is known for theatrical sports shows and documentary work that blend narration, music and archival images.

Has a law degree and is nicknamed “the lawyer”; studied sociology during the UCLA Summer Season (as reported in the review); began his career at the end of the 1970s; worked as a sports agent briefly managing Debra Rodman; worked on NCAA and NBA commentaries with Franco Arrigoni and Flavio Tranquillo; created the theatrical show La Milonga del Fútbol (returned to the theatre on March 26, 2024); produced a Sky Sport documentary "Federico Buffa racconta Gigi Riva, l’uomo che nacque due volte" which earned a Special Award at the Cicognini Prize.
