Among the least considered, among the most discussed on the web, the author of a success that struggles to arrive and perhaps it's better this way. Fabrizio finds himself at 34 needing to manage an irrepressible artistic vein and a record label that seems unable to make a good choice, lost among many valid and invalid artists, within a market that seems neither his greatest goal nor the least of them. He releases on June 5, 2009 with these ingredients in the background the ep of Moro named "Barabba."

Barabba is a character present in the gospels representing someone who always manages to make his way at the expense of the weaker and defenseless, from those who govern to those who reassure you with a very false "nun te preoccupà ce penso io." We can say that Barabba is everywhere among us and with the times going, there is always a need for someone who, through the magic of music, refreshes our ideas and helps people, even with simplicity, to open their eyes.

In this work Fabrizio breaks with the past while maintaining a thread of connection with the essence of songwriters that inspired him at the origins. The acoustic side emerges gently without banality; rather, with research and care, deep and sincere sound environments are created that marry perfectly with the concepts expressed by the words that are always measured and never useless. The sound aspect is enriched by the variety of instruments used, joyfully seasoning each track, distributing a sense of fullness and vitality throughout the work.

The curtain rises with "il peggio è passato," a melancholy and liberating power-ballad. There’s a moment in our lives, especially in our adolescence, when we are convinced we can change the system: it's a positive fact because in this conviction lies the strength to grow. But once grown, an even more important moment arrives: awareness. You realize that certain things will never change. So you focus on yourself and realize that what really matters is our little space, our dearest affections, the relationship with others, the game on TV with lifelong friends, the small things you have bought with so many sacrifices... Love!

The second track is titled "sangue nelle vene" and is a dedication to all those who deserve respect for the effort they put into living with little blood left in their veins, "to those who fight with clenched fists against a concrete wall and believe that sooner or later it will fall...to those born men but feel like women and do not care about society’s opinion!" an anthem to life.

"Barabba" is the title-track that does not disappoint and indeed convinces with each listening, irony and mockery towards the government proliferate, hatred towards an Italy that is killing meritocracy while exalting every form of nepotism... and the Barabbas continue to prevail.

The first single in radio rotation is "il senso di ogni cosa," a simple love anthem clearly dedicated to the girl who will turn him into a Dad, in which the verses lazily lie over a romantic and fitting violin.

According to Fabrizio, people today no longer have the courage to make important decisions, and this characteristic greatly penalizes the future of each individual who thus closes off more and more to the defeats and disappointments caused by a lack of personality... all of this is described with grit and anger in: "Il momento giusto" the most rhythmic track on the record.

"Melodia di giugno" is a moving piece where there is the feeling that the past slips away with bitterness and unstoppable certainty... the ray of light opens when one realizes that from the past life we can identify the recipe to better understand the future.

Fabrizio Moro signs a superb work that is definitely worth the 10 euros it costs.

The first track, 'Il peggio è passato,' is a liberating scream against current society and an exaltation of love.

Since June I have been listening to these 6 simple songs uninterruptedly, and every time they seem to convey something different.
