If you like rap, don’t choose another rapper because this is a great moment for Fabri Fibra. It happens that Fibra has completely gone mad, with crises as a former self-conscious person, giving us an exceptional album from all points of view. Purchasing his CD is not recommended for those over eighteen, but there are at least 17 reasons plus two why it is worth listening to.
When you like rap, you like it for the technique, for the precision, for the powerful sound, for the heavier rhymes. We’ve summarized in one line the essence of this Mr. Simpatia, brand new album from the genius of Fabri Fibra, known in the world as Fabrizio Tarducci. Thus, it happens to have in your hands, and in your ears, one of the most beautiful albums ever heard in the Italian rap scene. Mr. Simpatia engages from all points of view, first of all in terms of sound, then the lyrics, and technique, which is essential to excel in the first two points. In this album, this record, there are at least seven tracks on loop, those tracks that you can’t help but listen to at least ten times in a row. In this album, there are acidic, bold, hard-hitting lyrics. In this album, there are contents on multiple levels, for the most foolish of beef eaters and the most attentive listener.
Too much enthusiasm? Too enthusiastic?
I don’t think so, faced with the miserable edition of sad pieces that are overwhelming us on vitaminic and in the samplers of Italian hip hop magazines, finally, we are faced with some listenable rap, with rhymes that close perfectly on the beats, beats that sound, that make the speakers vibrate, that make rap, in short.
A blow to the head, what do you want it to be, Fabri is dead and Mr. Simpatia, his alter ego, has risen, he who transforms that Fabrizio Tarducci who has departed this life into a hologram.
Mr. Simpatia has completely gone insane, and as a madman, there isn’t much to take him seriously, yet he does rap, the real one, in a scene oppressed by the stale smell of all those extras who build horrendous demos and by the specters of those who have left, defeated, the rap scene.
Seventeen, or better yet, nineteen, 17 official, then the bonus track and finally the radio edit of number 10 “Faccio sul serio”, just to make clear the true intentions of the production. Production entrusted to a character who is truly gaining depth in all fields, from sound to rhyme, it's the brother of Fabrizio, Francesco, also known as Nesli Rice. A gem, the production of track number 3 “Io non ti invidio” entrusted to the always bright Bassi Maestro. The loop tracks are indisputably “Rap in vena” track 8, “Faccio sul serio” track 10, “Non crollo” track 11, “Non fare la puttana” track 12, “Palle piene” track 14, “Andiamo”, feat. Nesli, track 16, and finally the bonus track, on the player, number 18.
To conclude, the album is a must-have. It cannot be missing from the CD collection; it cannot be missing from the stereo. After years of listening to the rants of bloated American rappers wasted between burgers, bullets, and glocks, finally, a real rap album that concerns us, with the right dose of verbal violence that shakes even the calmest souls.
Fibra has accumulated a long series of disappointments and is oppressed by a thousand frustrations.
Mr. Simpatia reveals himself as a mad puppeteer who pulls the strings of his puppets.
Fabri Fibra is a philosopher.
"Non Crollo" best expresses the "Sfiber" sentiment, a desire to escape a society of bobbe malle, pimps, and punk idiots.
"Mr. Simpatia is an anthem against the current society and its decay, which also serves as an autobiography for Fibra."
"The album, with sharp language that at times spills into the reluctant, fully expresses the anger and disgust of the rapper from Senigallia."
Mr. Simpatia is the voice of everyone who has had to deal at least once in their lives with annoying bosses, traitorous friends, failed love experiences, and identity crises.
The language of Fibra in this album is hard, raw, ruthless, sharp but damnably effective and immediate to the listener’s ear.
