Evans Blue

Evans Blue is a Canadian rock band formed in 2005. Their debut album, The Melody and the Energetic Nature of Volume, was released in 2006 and produced the single "Cold (But I'm Still Here)".

The band formed in 2005 in Canada. The original vocalist was Kevin Matisyn; later the band recorded with singer Dan Chandler.

Reviewer discovered Evans Blue via the single 'Cold' and found the debut album unexpectedly fresh, energetic and melodic. Vocals are praised as warm and occasionally edgy. The cover of Sarah McLachlan's 'Possession' is highlighted. Recommended as an accessible, melodic alternative-rock release.
