EUROPE.

A name that sounds familiar to me. Ah, they are the ones who became a sensation twenty years ago thanks to the album "The Final Countdown," with songs like 'Cherokee', 'Carrie', 'Rock the Night' and especially the very famous title-track. But now they are back, with a powerful and undisputed album, showing that they are still here.

"Start from the Dark" made us discover the “new” Europe, with new sounds. The concert opens with Got to Have Faith, played exceptionally, followed by Ready or Not. The third song is Superstitious, then America and Wings of Tomorrow. Subsequently, Let the Good Times Rock starts, in which Tempest wears an American flag!!!! A return to the past with Seven Doors Hotel, but then we continue with the latest album with Hero and Wake up Call. Back to "Out of This World" with Sign of the Times. The five take a break and Tempest introduces his “friends” on stage; after the break, it starts again with Girl from Lebanon and the very famous Carrie, indeed from "The Final Countdown".

A small break interrupted by Leven’s bass which preludes “Flames”. Immediately Norum starts again with the initial riff of Yesterday’s News. Now Tempest gets the audience to do vocal exercises!!!! And a question echoes in the arena: ARE YOU READY??? Rock the Night is undoubtedly the best played song of the DVD. Last gem of the new album: the title-track Start from The Dark sends everyone into a frenzy. The second last song of the DVD: Cherokee, personally one of my favorites where Leven and Norum show what they can do…. But here comes the London Hammersmith exploding at the most famous keyboard riff in the world…. The Final Countdown sends everyone into ecstasy where the five give their best for the fans who will surely not easily forget that evening…

In short, a great album and great concert for the five Swedes!!!!
