Ernesto "Che" Guevara (1928–1967) was an Argentine-born Marxist revolutionary, physician, author and key figure in the Cuban Revolution. He participated in guerrilla campaigns and wrote diaries and political texts.

Born in Rosario, Argentina (1928). Traveled across Latin America in the early 1950s. Prominent participant in the Cuban Revolution (1956–1959). Held roles in the Cuban government and authored diaries and speeches. Captured and executed in Bolivia in 1967.

Two user reviews on DeBaser praise rare/collectible editions of Che's Bolivian diary and reflect on his mythic status. The reviews mix material description (cover, paper, stamps) with ideological and emotional reading. Readers highlight the diary's aura more than typographic quality.
