This is a poor album that the world could have done without.

Erlend Øye, the less fortunate half of Kings of Convenience, decided to release the result of his computer experiments, and it was thought that the outcome would be close to the grace of "Versus", the remix collection of tracks from "Quiet Is The New Loud", or maybe similar to the tracks where Erlend lent his voice to Röyksopp.

Instead, the lanky musician presents his fans with a collection of electronic songs that would have sounded retro even in the '80s, useless, already heard, each recorded with different collaborators in various locations.
Yes, because Quattrocchi insists on letting us know that he travels around Europe.

Two or three tracks are worth saving, let’s say the opening track and the single Sudden Rush.

Pick up the guitar again, please. I should have trusted the cover art this time too...

Erlend welcomes us into a world of analog synthesizers and drum machines directly from the '80s that meet acoustic guitars and the piano sounds already characteristic of the KoC.

If you are incurable romantics or if you simply crave not thinking, this album is for you.
