THE REVIEW

Yes, it's a Burdon album from the period when (as Scaruffi would say) he was creating embarrassment. Sure, he made quite a few blunders after the Animals, but this album is not one of them.

His voice is still the same, warm and raspy, maybe just a bit more modulated compared to the shouts in "Talkin' 'bout you," and the guitar creates the typical riffs and solos of those years, somewhat reminiscent of Paul Kossoff's style.

What else do you need to know? Do you need to know that there's a cover of "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood"? No, you don't. Do you need to know it's from '74? Not that either.

Now, give a one-star to this crummy "review" and listen to the album!
