The project Enten Hitti returns with a new album titled VIA LATTEA. The concept is dedicated to the "sacred feminine" across all cultures. The research conducted by Enten Hitti in this regard has been very thorough, as the ensemble has traveled to countries like Cyprus, Crete, Turkey, Ireland, South Africa, and Indonesia. The aim is to create an atmosphere that evokes "the spirit of the 'feminine' in its universality". The great Swiss historian and anthropologist Bachofen is not mentioned, but honestly, his reading serves as a perfect accompaniment to this album. In fact, according to his historiographical conception, the dawn of human history is characterized by a succession of phases where initially the maternal element prevailed, followed by the paternal one. The sacred sense of this work also brought to mind, from a philosophical point of view, the great Popol Vuh, which sought connections between various religions. Furthermore, I found a musical connection with the German group in their quest for a sort of universal sound through contamination. The minimal and spiritual approach of Enten Hitti takes us to a metaphysical and spiritual dimension that certainly owes something to other experiences from the '70s (although it all sounds with a modern sensibility) by artists like Claudio Rocchi, Aktuala, and Juri Camisasca. And, not by chance, we find Juri Camisasca among the guest artists in VIA LATTEA along with other prominent names such as Vincenzo Zitello, Jenny Sorrenti, Antonio Testa, Alio Die, Julia Berger, Paola Tagliaferro, Claudio Milano, and Gamelan Gong Cenik. While listening, one has the vivid sensation of floating into space, freeing one’s mind towards unexplored horizons. The cover art is by Matteo Guarnaccia, a cult artist for those who follow psychedelic art. In addition to the CD (co-produced by Seahorse Recordings and Lizard Records), ADN will also release a limited edition vinyl.
