Garbage. Stuff that anyone who has ever heard half a black metal song could write in fifteen minutes. And it doesn't matter if the album in question lasts about twice as long. Just take any riff from that concentrate of burnt blood and gunpowder that is "Panzer Division Marduk," play it straight for a few minutes while the machine gun drumming offers no respite, play it backwards during the mid tempos where the drums still have the double bass drum engaged (a real obsession throughout the album), and label it all as War Black Metal. Our dear Endstille are even German, heaven forbid if they don't throw in a martial title in their native language, making it so TRVE MYSANTHROPIC-whatever.

"Fruhlingserwachen" (olé!) is quite useful for loosening the tongue; at least from this perspective, the title deserves three stars, but... musically, this second album shows an astonishing lack of ideas, highlighting the anonymous predecessor almost as if it were a masterpiece: the level of aggression is embarrassingly low - which in truth is something that only a few have, even among the so-called big names in the scene - and also the conviction to blatantly imitate their idols! If then, instead of sounding like an infernal war machine, the overall sound resembles more that of my grandfather's old Renault 5 struggling up the hills of my hometown (swearing grandfather included), then the debacle is total. The last track is almost acceptable, up to the third minute... Too bad it lasts over six minutes. Who knows what genius melody they thought they had invented!

Pure noise even for the devotees of the genre, it's because of bands like this that the genre has reached saturation. Yes, because "Fruhlingserwachen" dates back to about ten years ago, and these brave warmongers have continued undeterred to produce their half-hour (if we're unlucky, they manage to exceed even three-quarters of an hour) of war, dead of christ, blood, infektion, reich, and military company, without a shred of personality and even reaching their seventh album. Copying so much and, above all, badly.
