I really don't understand how a serious music site (are you laughing? I am) could still not have reviewed Eminem's new album. I've browsed through the reviews, I've been following you for a while but I've noticed there's a lot of pretentiousness, maybe from hipster people for hipster people. Like: what, you listen to chart music? Sure, those people probably never listened to the Beatles, the Rolling Stones, or Pink Floyd.

Having made this necessary premise to make my opinion clear, let's consider this new album from the legend Eminem.

The album is good, I'll say it right away, but certainly not like his masterpieces. I also think, I'll admit, that he's messed up a bit with the catchy rhymes, the chart ballads, but tracks like rap god quickly put the hipster critics in their place.

And my girlfriend brings up Emis Killa: get lost. Basically, remove the sweet part of this album and you'll have a good punch in the eye. Emis Killa can get lost.

Perhaps the weak part is the not very powerful, not heavy, maybe too light beats.

Berzerk is another punch in the ear. It hurts more if you've ever been in a fistfight, I doubt you have.

But I don't feel like writing the whole tracklist, I just know they hit you like a train. The years go by but Eminem doesn't let you down even if he goes commercial. TMML2 is built like a tank, Mr. E is back in shape like 10 years ago, kicking ass, and for those of you who haven't noticed, you can go listen to Mogwai.

The first three quarters of the CD is monstrous. Don't bother me with subject and verb, okay? The first three quarters intended as singular.

In short, Eminem returns to the glory of the nineties, kicks ass, breaks glass, and runs naked again.

This is Eminem's best album of the decade and one of the most fun, tough, and engaging ones, period, of the last fifteen years.

P.S. for everyone: I'm not a fake or a hipster.

P.S.S. The first one who insults, I'm waiting for you outside my house.
