Cat Power?
Let's bow down.

Emily Jane White?
This time, let's bow down.
For other occasions (specifically other albums, if there are any at this moment), don't hold me accountable; my judgment (verdict and/or acquittal) is limited to only "Dark Undercoat" (dated 2007) distributed by the Double Negative record label.

Ondarock?
The resemblance is probably objective (for the more malicious and "angry" ones), my thinking is parallel to "colleague" Raffaello Russo ... dear soul.

It's a period where paranoia almost forces me to (I try) review anything I listen to that's not present on DeBaser.

The cursed wine, fortune, delight, and scoundrel in the mouth for everyone, the cigarette that never goes out (cited), the dinner as if everything is going well by eating in 3 seconds meat, sandwich, dessert, and then a first course (in the Italian jargon)... how can everything go well? In the end, everything is fine because coffee is not missing, and then another cigarette and another one...

Every morning a few more gray hairs, and the only thing that consoles us is the cigarette, and Emily sings and makes us dream, sings and cradles you.

Minimalist singer-songwriter? The nuances are there, the strings, the piano, and the strumming of a misunderstood ragged person, without shouting a miracle (we are tired of novelties, cited) "Dark Undercoat" is an album that surely deserves to be burned (SIAE teaches) or for the bravest purchased.
The girl knows what she's doing, knows how to capture attention, knows how to seem like Cat Power without stealing anything from her.
The lightheartedness of music opens the doors of the heart and believe me (heart of stone, cited) there aren't many times when they tear my chest open with 4 words, a piano, and a cello.

Now the bomb... Cat Power would do well (if she hasn't already) to listen to such a work and draw vital energy for a new project like "You Are Free".

To know.

And now... cigarette.
