The Profile

EMF are an English alternative dance band best known for the global hit Unbelievable and the debut album Schubert Dip, followed by Stigma and Cha Cha Cha. After their initial run, they reunited for later activities and new material in the 2010s–2020s.

Formed in Cinderford, Gloucestershire in 1989. Achieved international success with Unbelievable (1990/1991). Original run 1989–1997; reunions 2001–2002 and 2012–present. Bassist Zac Foley died in 2002.
