THE REVIEW

ELP. The review could end right here.
These 3 very simple letters probably mean nothing to most people, yet they represent and have always distinguished one of the most important and influential bands in the world of music.
Keith Emerson (Keyboards), Greg Lake (Bass, Guitar, Vocals) and Carl Palmer (Drums, Percussion) are certainly among the best minds music has ever had. Absolutely musicians with a capital "M" who, right from their first album, demonstrated excellent technical skills and much more.
Their music is a blend of Rock and Classical music, and over the years this excellent mixture has fused with Electronics, achieving great success and producing fantastic songs.

This is a 2004 anthology that revisits all the emotions that ELP transmitted to their fans. Songs like "Lucky Man," "Fanfare For The Common Man," "Karn Evil" have been anthems for the 70's generations and will always remain memorable songs like all the others from ELP. It's truly a shame that as the years have gone by, great bands like these have been forgotten (not by everyone, but by many people). In short, if you want to get an idea of when music becomes genius, absolutely purchase this anthology.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer

Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) were an English progressive rock supergroup formed by keyboardist Keith Emerson, bassist/vocalist/guitarist Greg Lake, and drummer/percussionist Carl Palmer. Known for virtuosic playing and fusing rock with classical adaptations and synthesizers, they rose in the early 1970s with ambitious suites and major live performances, later facing backlash as musical tastes shifted, and reuniting in the early 1990s for albums such as Black Moon.
