THE REVIEW

Maybe all these emotions
when I have wrinkles on my face
will no longer be there,
but the memories of a sensitive boy
will grow with them.

You... yes, I'm talking to you Keith,
who with your fingers
give me that happiness every time
that I unknowingly think someone else
cannot give me.

And like you Carl, who confidently beats your drums
I too would like to beat
with the same strength
the barriers of life.

You are making me dream
and you will continue to do so every time I listen
to every sound of yours.

Every time the notes of "Memoirs Of An Officer And A Gentleman"
enter my heart,
the body fills with shivers
and my mind fills with thoughts.
Greg, your voice makes me think
of a distant future,
that future
together with my children,
in front of a record player
reliving the emotions
experienced in youth.

I hope everyone experiences or has experienced all this...

Thank you EL&P.

Emerson, Lake & Palmer

Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP) were an English progressive rock supergroup formed by keyboardist Keith Emerson, bassist/vocalist/guitarist Greg Lake, and drummer/percussionist Carl Palmer. Known for virtuosic playing and fusing rock with classical adaptations and synthesizers, they rose in the early 1970s with ambitious suites and major live performances, later facing backlash as musical tastes shifted, and reuniting in the early 1990s for albums such as Black Moon.

I know that 'Love Beach' sucks and stinks.

The cover sucks and stinks. The most ignoble ever made, and surely some fool richly rewarded photographer Jim Houghton for the obscenity.

I consider this Love Beach a good effort made by even demotivated musicians but always extraordinary.

Every group that has written pages of progressive rock had to tackle such an album.
