Elvira

Elvira is the stage persona created and performed by Cassandra Peterson, an American actress and horror hostess known for campy, Halloween-themed hosting and pop-culture appeal.

Born in Manhattan, Kansas (Cassandra Peterson). Created the Elvira character while working with the Los Angeles comedy troupe The Groundlings. Appeared in Federico Fellini's film Roma (1972).
