The Profile

Eluveitie is a Swiss folk metal band formed in 2002 by Chrigel Glanzmann. Their sound fuses melodic death metal with Celtic folk elements and instruments such as hurdy-gurdy, bagpipes, flutes, and violins. Key releases include Slania (2008), Evocation I: The Arcane Dominion (2009), Everything Remains (As It Never Was) (2010), Helvetios (2012), Origins (2014), Evocation II: Pantheon (2017), and Ategnatos (2019).
