Electric Masada is a New York-based ensemble led by John Zorn that electrifies the Masada songbook, fusing free jazz, klezmer, rock and electronics. Renowned for incendiary live sets and top-tier improvisers, the group has featured Marc Ribot, Trevor Dunn, Joey Baron, Kenny Wollesen, Cyro Baptista, Jamie Saft and Ikue Mori.

Released the double live album At the Mountains of Madness (recorded in Moscow and Ljubljana) and appears on the Tzadik series 50th Birthday Celebration, Volume 4 recorded at Tonic in New York; repertoire draws from Zorn’s Masada compositions with jazz-rock and klezmer elements.
