New music

Childish Gambino - Feels Like Summer (Audio)
This guy is really talented.
Then there's the use of autotune and probably other effects in excess.
But since he doesn't make music like Fedez, with Italian indie arrangements that resemble Cocciante's from 1972, we can let him have it, considering that there's a lot of quality and thought in his composition.

Stevie Wonder - Love's in Need of Love Today (Live) I consider it a waste of ink to comment on similar masterpieces, a landmark of the musical bible "Songs in the Key of Life." What can I say, I use a happy expression from a journalist I don't particularly like from Il Manifesto: "Stevie Wonder knows how to be popular without being fashionable." It belongs on that list of albums (like The River by Bruce Springsteen or So by Peter Gabriel and many others) whose influence is too powerful to be ignored.

Stevie Wonder - A Time To Love
A duet inspired by the Boss with India Arie, very beautiful lyrics that are very relevant considering the situation in the USA.

Henna - Lucio Dalla
Coming off that painful album "Cambio" (only "Comunista" is worth saving, "Attenti al lupo" flopped, and as you know, I'm pro-mainstream), Dalla returns with a good album. Nothing that shouts miracle, but some enjoyable tracks ("Latin Lover," "Treno") and then one song that for me can stand alongside those from the famous trilogy, "Il lampo del genio."
Powerful from start to finish the lyrics.

A Remark You Made This song has set a standard much more than one might think.

Open Your Eyes
The r e b pearl of the Master's album, one of those people who brings quality to the masses and gets rid of people like Britney Spears.

OutKast - The Way You Move
>>>> hey yeah, it's the standout track of the album

Earth, Wind & Fire - My Promise (Audio) Even in their latest album, fresh and pleasant. Then everyone mentions the good soul of Maurice White, but Philip Bailey is underrated, a singer and performer with real chops, guilty only of that terrible thing with Phil Collins on "Easy Lover"; forgivable.

Snoop Dogg 'Who Am I' Live 2017 miami
Dominant and illuminated on stage as Ibra in the penalty area

If I Ain't Got You
A quote from a user who has since disappeared that illustrates my conception of music: "not the mass as a guarantee of quality (a common counterargument about DeB), but the mass WITH a quality product as a guarantee of genius. Reaching the niche with quality or the mass with garbage is (in both cases) extremely easier." As for the music that abroad or with the general public is exchanged for tuna cans, I don't know what to do with it (just as I feel about the other extreme, which I call the music of record companies like Nek, Pausini, etc.). I will continue in the coming days with D'Angelo, Miguel, Sno-opp, John Legend, etc.

50 Cent - If I Can't
This record has now become a cult classic, even though it was trashed back in the day 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, cheesy or not, this song makes you want to groove.

If I Was Your Man (Live from Japan)
Let's continue with the great Joe, another singer dedicated to picking up girls.

Snoop Dogg - Let's get blown (Pharell) Another classic r e b, Pharrell Williams alternates gems with nonsense.

Intro I pay my tribute to r e b with this great album by DMX, even though I prefer the second one. This song in particular holds symbolic value as it was Tyson's entrance music after his 3 years in prison.

Joe - I Wanna Know I had an old profile where I posted stuff by Gino Paoli, but also blues, jazz, etc. A song discovered because of the legendary posing routine of Tyson at the Bb Ronnie Coleman. A song for true enthusiasts: a "bad" song that people like.
