Although he is a great artist, he is very little considered on these pages, probably because he is now a classic outside of trends and fashions, and therefore overlooked by the younger generation (no offense, in fact with a hint of envy).
Elvis Costello & The Attractions - Peel Session 1977

I advise @[Battlegods], I must say that I listened to it distractedly, but generally my favorite moments are the more thoughtful ones, while I drift away when they dive into a sophisticated, wavering prog rock infused with space/jazz. At first listen, they don't cater to my current tastes; I didn't know them before, so it wasn't a wasted listening experience.

they are more than forgotten; they are unknown, and it's a real shame because they deserved at least as much as they sowed. But the beauty of music is that often you don't reap the fruits of your labor. Said like this, it sounds silly, but it's a big gamble, and I find it quite fascinating, intriguing—it leads you to give your all, to hold nothing back in order to reach the finish line with your ideas without selling yourself short. I'm too old now; I've wasted a good part of my life on trash. If I had used that time to try to reach my own goals, even failing, I would be much more satisfied—trying is already an achievement. Words thrown to the wind

@[Battlegods] you who are an expert in prog/jazz, do you happen to know this band? I've only found one track, but the title of the LP varies from site to site; I can’t seem to find anything else. It seems like a shame because I really like the sound; it intrigues me.

Children of "Pet Sound". at least a couple of masterpieces, arranger for Stereolab, a nice past with a band, it's useless to say, born and died in indifference. Yet the darkness surrounds them.

Another name nearly forgotten on these pages, yet their journey is quite interesting, I think of the aforementioned That Petrol Emotion. Roads, or rather highways, all waiting to be traveled at cruising speed to fully enjoy the landscapes they offer us.

it seems they exist only for one song but that’s not exactly the case and they haven't been great just for the figure of the singer.
The Only Ones - Peel Session 1978

Second half of the 80s, two explosive LPs, incandescent guitars, futuristic Velvet Underground, a perfect singer in every track shaping grand melodies. Pure gold.
That Petrol Emotion - manic pop thrill (1986)
In the second one, they anticipate the times, a neurotic funky danceable on neurasthenic guitars. Pure gold.
And then, as far as I'm concerned, a third work to forget.

While browsing Bandcamp, I stumbled upon, or rather crashed into, this name Nuno Canavarro - Plux Quba [Full] Could I resist? 1988, electronics, fragments without inhibitions, a real question mark followed by a big exclamation point, and then I discover that behind it lies "Ho Sempre Le Mani In Pasta" Jim O'Rourke. The omelet is ready, just waiting to be served, and I have to taste it properly with you poor victims of my choices.
