Van Der Graaf Generator - Over The Hill 25 + 5 songs by Hammill that aren’t always the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs you could repave the Grande Raccordo Anulare). Did you really think VDGG would be left out? Come on. (28/25)

Niccolò Fabi - I cerchi di gesso Great piece for a great album.

V D G The Quiet Zone The Pleasure Dome 03 The Siren Song 25 + 5 songs by Hammill that aren't always the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs one could repave the Grande Raccordo Anulare). Luzifers Ghilom - Amon Düül II (1969) those percussions... that riff, that start from the Rolling Stones a thousand times soured and esotericized...

Alice - Rumba rock (Alice-G.Pio) - 1980 For me, the best of Alice comes from "Park Hotel" onwards, but the truth is that this was a very solid debut (at least under the name "Alice") and that even from her "pop period," not much can be discarded.

Usher's Suite 25 songs by Hammill that are not always the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs you could repave the Grande Raccordo Anulare) (25/25). Grand Finale (?)

Peter Hammill A way out. 25 songs by Hammill that are not the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs one could repave the Grande Raccordo Anulare) (24/25)

Fotheringay (Sandy Denny) - Eppie Moray The British folk tradition reimagined with the electricity brought by pop-rock, transforming into pure, irresistible electric folk.

Amon Düül II - Phallus Dei @[CYPHER] time to take a trip into the arcane psychedelic and acid Germany.

Peter Hammill - Sitting Targets (1981; remastered 2007) 25 songs by Hammill that are not always the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs, one could re-pave the Grande Raccordo Anulare) (23/25)

The Subhuman (Live 1974) Of them, there are at least 5 albums that I really like, without a doubt, among the studio ones; however, they are one of those bands that had live shows as their favorite hunting ground, and the most juicy stuff can be found in the three "historical" live albums from '75 to '82.

Blue Oyster Cult: Flaming Telepaths I almost like it even more than Astronomia.

Walking The Floor Over You (Duet) Every now and then, bonus tracks come in handy. Eh, these two, these two, huh @[imasoulman]?

Peter Hammill - Sleep Now 25 songs by Hammill that are not the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs, one could repave the Grande Raccordo Anulare) (22/25)

Fotheringay(Sandy Denny) - John the Gun I’m sharing this version, which is ultimately the original version of the song, intended for the second album of Fotheringay that never was. Then, like "Late November" ended up on Denny's solo debut (where Lucas and all the other Fotheringay members played + Richard Thompson, so in the end, well, it was still them, only the second album became his first). A thanks to Jerry Donahue for giving us at least a slightly greater archive of songs from that beautiful band that Sandy Denny and Trevor Lucas had put together.

Fotheringay - 01 - Nothing More (by EarpJohn) Does anyone get offended if I call Sandy Denny one of the greatest songwriters and singers of all time?

Traintime 25 songs by Hammill that aren’t the usual classics, to rediscover scattered gems in an endless discography (and indeed, with all his songs you could repave the Grande Raccordo Anulare) (21/25)
