Tom Waits - Diamonds & Gold A song perhaps little considered compared to other acclaimed masterpieces of "Rain Dogs," but it drives me crazy. For the record, masturbatio has reignited my Waits fever, so I’m abandoning all recent listens, and for the next month, it will be full immersion.

But yes, you soaked me with the classic, so here you go 09 Rite Of Spring [Igor Stravinsky] (it's no coincidence that I included the soundtrack version of "Fantasia").

The Birthday Party - Six Strings that Drew Blood One of their best tracks. Not only one of Cave's coolest performances, notice the mini-cosmos created by Howard with the guitar, genius.

DeBaser Presents: Seven of the fabulous T-Rex and Marc Bolan (6) Cosmic Dancer - Marc Bolan and T. Rex One of my favorite tracks by this extraordinary band, yet another gem of the raw genius Marc Bolan. Also, I don't want to sound silly, but I believe another piece from this album hasn't been posted yet; it could even be their best album, hard to say.

IQ IQ - Ever (full album) The progghetaro spirit in me occasionally shines through; I like this album more than once, unlike some of their others. So, in 1993, with 11 years of career behind them, they release their best album, objectively excellent prog-rock. Their other albums convince me less; they’re good, sure, but apart from Echolyn and Anglagard from the '80s-'90s prog scene that I really enjoy, I've found very little else.

Here, I caught them again Fire In The Hole And now I'm here all happy. They sound so perfect and at the same time so spontaneous that it's always so much fun to listen to them. I then wonder how the hell, with such a debut, they managed to do better? So much better? Jesus...

DeBaser Presents: Seven of the fabulous T-Rex and Marc Bolan (1) T. Rex - Ballrooms Of Mars I can't even explain the feelings this song gives me, the atmosphere, Bolan's interpretation... Incredible song, spine-chilling. Immense artist/band.
