Okay, the suit and tie, but there the old beast resurfaced, and oh, he’s around 60 too. It’s hard not to dive into the crowd swept away by the "ritual," I admit it. And anyway, aside from Nicolino, seeing this gentleman live here Dirty Three - Ocean Songs [Full Album] was quite an emotion; he looks like Methuselah's crazy grandfather mixed with a Viking and Santa Claus, but it's all good.

Oh How We Danced Track 7: How Much Can A Man Really Take This is (perhaps) the most beautiful song from a very beautiful album, truly very beautiful. At least before the final ecstasy of the title track (the only cover on the album). The solo debut of an inspired Jim Capaldi (accompanied by great session musicians and the usual gang of companions). A fresh and captivating album; I prefer works like this over the, albeit valid, offerings from Traffic in the last three years.

Today it's like this, I also make the nobleman happy Night Life first album with two guitarists, but here, let me tell you, it's not hard rock at all; I hear a lot of R&B/Soul, or soft-jazz nighttime atmospheres, or anyway plenty of black music, another obvious legacy of the black Irishman. And then the cover is beautiful (even if both that and the arrangements are maybe a bit polished, but just a little, nothing annoying), especially because of that panther in the foreground, aoh, I have a soft spot for felines, and when it comes to the big ones with black coats, well, let's not even go there.
