The Dubliners - Whiskey in the Jar (best version!!!) Yesterday on the radio. Always nice to listen to them.

John Campbell - Down in the hole Great cover by Tommaso.

La ragazza con la pistola - Il disonoramento Film of the day (and happy birthday for the fifty years). A bit different, blessed Mario, from the most ruthless films of Germi from a few years earlier. Beautiful.

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Penthouse Pauper Fogerty's guitar in this piece...

The Swamp Monster The Birthday Party - Swampland Oh, there's yet another storm these days in Rome, it's the perfect weather for Birthday Parties.

Cercando Un Nuovo Confine The cutest band in Italian prog.

Area - Gioia e Rivoluzione (1975) And the Area also focused on their "Inno Pop"

Il Sorpasso -le corna- A film so perfect and polished that it overtakes perfection by honking and giving it the horns.

The Cramps - TV Set Rockabillyhorrorshow.

tom waits-black wings There is... Oh my God

steely dan - barrytown I’m obsessed with this song. Always stunning.

Peter Hammill- Betrayed Maron was really pissed off here. The "Mavaffanculo a tutti" finale is one of his peaks. Like everything "Over," after all.

Peter Hammill-"My Unintended" (From the Trees 2017) And no, nothing more than to say that Hammill's latest solo album is beautiful. More beautiful than those that preceded it, in my opinion. Just so you know.

Gentle Giant Why Not For me, they remain among the best composers ever in "Rock" music. Transitioning so effortlessly from powerful rock to a madrigal-like interlude, only to end with that astonishing finale overflowing with groove and, yes, immediate communicative impact, is the work of true champions. Forget about difficult music (and okay, that too), these guys made you move your ass.
