amm - after rapidly circling the plaza (lp version)
An atomic track that summarizes, along with the other peak "Later during a flaming riviera sunset," the absurd art of AMM. Unfortunately, these are the only two notable compositions. The two-hour live performance at The Crypt in '68 is something cacophonous, unbearable AHAH that is the opposite example, meaning when free form creates nothing "assimilable."

mike oldfield hergest ridge part one
Sublime until Incantations. From this album onwards, only Irish tarantellas in a pop style, aside from the stratospheric 20 minutes of Crises.

Steve Roach - Reflections in Suspension
The ideal soundscape for the stunning summer time slot from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Aphrodisiac sunset and whispering wind.

Terry Riley - Performance Two - Part 2
His perfect album alongside the seminal "A Rainbow in a Curved Air." With "Shri Camel," he already gets lost in the usual gamelan.

Return To Forever - Vulcan Worlds
Only Jean Luc Ponty (too light and predictable with those classic funky rhythms) and Nucleus (too jazz and not enough psych component) don’t send me into orbit in jazz rock.

Quatermass - Up On the Ground
The blues riffs in the style of Grand Funk have fascinated me less and less over time, replaced by the intricate prog/jazz rock patterns. However, this piece is the perfect example of how to combine hard and experimentation. It’s the power I wish to have in some Jethro tracks, too stuck in folk tarantella or in the Atomic of the third album (special up to Death walks Behind you). This album by Quatermass is something unique.

Rick Wakeman - The Last Battle
And immediately I turn into a witch in the midst of a forest at dusk.

Walter Wegmuller - Die Welt
"Tarot" is an album that could have been a masterpiece if Walter and his crew (including Schulze) hadn't gotten lost in predictable grooves. However, this one is perfect!

Greenslade - Melange [2018 Remaster]
Here’s another track where the bass literally blew my mind.

Colosseum - Mandarin
One of the coolest bass pieces alongside "Joy of a Toy" from the late 60s psych jazz.

Exmagma - The First Tune
The perfect track from this obscure band ⭐️
