Mark Stewart - Hypnotised
His voice sharp as a blade but capable of being as deep as a crooner on methamphetamines is one of the shocks of my life. His first three solo albums are the best productions in the breakbeat scene. In fact, Mark is the true creator of industrial fused with noise blasts, imaginative collages, and hellish dub. If you love the likes of Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, and their peers, know that Mark obliterates them AHAH.

Cabaret Voltaire - A Thousand Ways
Synthetic slaughter 🥩💊

Cabaret Voltaire - Sensoria (7'' Mix)
Mantra, hypnosis, addiction 💥

Cabaret Voltaire - YouTube video non trovatotVJie3P8E8
I've always praised the beginnings and "Mix up," but even the subsequent period up to "The covenant..." is something masterful. If I have to choose Body music, I pick Cabaret, a thousand marches ahead of Front 242, Nitzer Ebb...

The The - The Mercy Beat
There were many bands that tried to mix funk, noise blasts, and industrial noir vocals (like the early Hunters and Collectors). However, none reached the level of The The. Matt Johnson has such a cool voice that he could have made an album with Clock DVA or the Pop Group... it would have been exciting.

Scritti Politti - Boom! There She Was
They managed to further laminate "Cupid and psyche 85" without it being terrible. Geniuses.
(with the vocal effect at minute 2:00 it's impossible not to think about how much they may have anticipated Daft Punk by 10 years)

Police - No Time This Time
The first drum and bass track in history AHAH

The The - Sweet Bird Of Truth
Here’s another band that is simply a bomb.

Christian Death - The Blue Hour (feat. R. Williams)
The best American dark band: pathos, lyricism, theatricality, obscenity, occultism.
In comparison, the Sisters of Mercy were making pop AHAH
Oh, by the way, the Virgin Prunes, even though they hinted a lot at macabre theatricality, I find them more caught up in the clichés of the genre, both with their very first noisy dark punk works and with "If I die, I die."

Police - Shadows In The Rain
I've bottled up so many messages, I've taken so many moonlit walks, but check out this track oh!

Prefab Sprout - I Never Play Basketball Now
Starting out with compositions like these is something magical.

The Blue Nile - Seven A.M. (Official Audio)
I see satellites and molecules in the sky.

Gang Of Four - I Love a Man in a Uniform
The last gem (along with "To hell with poverty") before they got tangled up with funky.

Scritti Politti - Skank Bloc Bologna
One of the cornerstones of the punky dub movement, seasoned with off-kilter no wave rhythms and a sublime, alienated vocal line 🚀
