Gem Boy

They spent almost 10 years doing stupid covers. I know they eventually started writing their own stuff, but I was already pretty fed up and didn't want to know anything more. A bit more likable when they dub blockbuster movies.

If we talk about 883 until 2001, the last year Max Pezzali used the brand, I can give them a 3. The first two are excellent, albeit slightly vulgar. "Il grande incubo" and "La dura legge del gol" are listenable. "Grazie 1000" and "Uno in più" are mediocre. Having accompanied a bit of my adolescence and early experiences in their golden period, I do not deny them, considering Max a character still above other clowns, due to his charm and simplicity. I reiterate, the score is only for the decade 1992-2001.

Deep Purple

Just the name sends shivers down the spine of heavy metal devotees. As far as I know, which will be about 60-70% by the mid-'70s, my vote is solid, even if some tracks can occasionally become wearisome.

Maximum score for the Doors in their entirety. A character of immense charisma on stage, an extraordinary voice, and for this, he would deserve a 5, but he is excessively idolized and exalted to the status of a guru, a prophet which he is not. The reality is that he was an extremely fragile man and a child of the saddest nihilism.
