An interesting "cultured" science fiction writer, one of the few, if not the only woman to have achieved a certain fame in the genre... So far I have only read "The Left Hand of Darkness," which is a great little book; among other things, the feminine touch she applies to a genre usually dominated by men is very noticeable and original.
