X Factor

Surely worse Friends... but this is also a masterpiece of artistic indoctrination, no joke! The art of dulling the youth (who don't realize they're profiting from their ignorance) with all the same and stereotypical singers presented each time as the NEW FACES of Italian music. Every now and then there's someone a bit more original (see Nevruz) but they don't let him make it big because he doesn't sound trendy!

Yes

Perfectly balanced between virtuoso riding and symphonic suggestions. But the two pop-rock albums from the '80s are also very beautiful. They didn't really have much new to say after that and could have dissolved, although their post-eighties work is good. It's a shame that a myriad of "supermarket listeners" (as I call them), who are not very curious, will only continue to know them as those behind "owner of a loooooonley heaaaart."

Depeche Mode

But pop-electronic groups like them are a dream these days! Now there are all these hip-house groups competing to see who can blast the speakers the hardest, but with zero substance! They were commercial but also creative in playing with electronic sounds! And even now they are; they've modernized and adapted to the times but still maintain that skill in mixing sounds, so much so that even just their recent productions can sweep away the entire modern clubbing scene.
