Green Carnation

An interesting evolution... from the doom-metal of their debut to the prog-gothic metal of Light Of Day, Day Of Darkness and A Bless In Disguise, from the catchy The Quiet Offspring to the splendid acoustic The Acoustic Verses. Then they didn't want to give us anything more, what a shame! Well, let's enjoy what they've done!

Luciano Ligabue

At a lyrical level, I'd say it's very engaging; but it's been 21 years that he's been on the scene... and 21 years that he keeps offering the same monotonous riffs... which after a while become as tolerable as an itch in the ass. EVOLVE, DAMN IT!!! Oh wait, I'm sorry, I forgot that then you wouldn't fill the stadiums anymore! Poor thing!!! :'( :'( ..... :D :D :D!!!

Gianna Nannini

An authentic drag in Italian music. His voice sounds like my grandmother's with a stomach ache, and his songs are genuine nursery rhymes for children (not to put them to sleep, but to give them insomnia, what do you think?) with ridiculously simple love lyrics... and in doing so, he's even convinced he's making rock!!!!! Come on, tomorrow if I feel like it, I'm going to walk around naked screaming... I AM JESUS CHRIIIIIIST!!

Saga

Tremendously underrated! They have tried different paths while always staying sophisticated yet immediate. They started with high-class synth rock; they went through the trends of the '80s, influenced by them but never completely selling out, showing themselves to be among the most refined of the era; they experimented with hard rock, grunge, and purest prog in the '90s and then stabilized on a superb AOR with clear sounds! It's about time we give them some recognition!

Marillion

With Fish: an excellent neo-prog band, with clear references to Genesis but endowed with great class. With Hogarth... time and again authors of a personal, intimate, and refined sound! I hope this second phase gets reassessed because it seems too often overlooked!!!

Michael Jackson

Forgive me, but in my opinion, he was one of the first to degrade music: he was the first to realize that by placing four random computer-generated sounds and creating from them a bare, essential, yet danceable melody, he could mess with the brains of numerous kids, making them believe they were facing the music of the future (when instead it was a fake musical avant-garde) and thus make a boatload of money! Without him, music today might have been better!
