It doesn't feature as many fiction-based and exhibitionist programs as Mediaset, which is already a plus. It may not have the cult shows of the past, but the programming is overall acceptable; I especially enjoy the games on Raiuno. It's just a shame about the constant excessive attacks on Berlusconi from Raitre.

Lollipop

Musically, I can only imagine how terrible they were; emerging from a television marketing operation, they were put together by people with money up to their asses and forced onto the scene with a couple of bland and entirely soulless songs, written in a boardroom by the record label... then, as they too became a trend, they vanished after their moment had passed... a testament to the fact that time sets things right when everything is functioning well!

They choose some pretty boys who can appeal to the girls (they might even be good at singing, okay) and make them win, launching them from the record label with cliché and trivial pop songs, then they recommend them to SanRemo and even make them win with equally trivial songs when there are artists of far greater caliber and much more deserving. And so they also contribute to ruining the musical culture in Italy.

Overrated by far; a band that, in my opinion, doesn't know how to express the true hard rock energy at its best, and Axl's voice is quite annoying. However, there is worse.

Transatlantic

the modern masters of progressive rock suite! In the recent tour... with only 6 songs they managed to deliver a concert lasting over three and a half hours! Truly amazing, not something everyone can do! And if they are derivative... who cares!!!
