After achieving success as a synth-pop group, they could have continued to make money hand over fist... Instead, they chose to experiment, even at the cost of becoming unpopular; then, once they became unpopular, they could have returned to a more pop sound to please their label and audience... but they made the most dignified decision: to disband rather than sell out, probably aware that they had given everything they could to music! A tremendous example of dignity!!!

I honestly don't understand all this mockery! In my opinion, he is the Italian artist who has given a new face to piano music, giving it a more pop style while maintaining its elegance, making it even loved by young people. To me, he is like Dream Theater: criticized out of envy or simply because someone has spread the idea that he is an idiot; that's the only way to explain how a pianist with a classical background could be ridiculed on par with someone like Justin Bieber or Pitbull.
