I think exactly like comment #8 of 47; I too went through a period of love for them, which gradually faded. Since "In Absentia," they have undergone a clear decline, although to be honest, even "Stupid Dream" and "Lightbulb Sun" were quite sterile, save for a few exceptions. Their best phase for me is from '91 to '97. The album I find most fresh and original is the first one, "On the Sunday of Life."

I will end up smashed and disintegrated against a wall! Damn, I'm freaking out! I'll put on a helmet then! The bullshit is what you keep preaching, you second-rate preacher! If you're intolerant towards atheists, that's your problem; intolerance breeds monsters, and you are proof of that. Do you really believe in a god that punishes someone with eternal damnation just for having an opinion? You're completely mentally brainwashed. I talked to you about Maxwell's theory, and you respond with John Lennon?? You really make me feel sorry for you; let me show you the way: THE ONE TO THE ASYLUM! Sorry, I won't make the mistake of talking to this subject again.

Oh God, this is unsettling! I’m sorry to disappoint you but I’m masculine! XD Joking aside, I’m happy we think the same way. :)

A suggestive soundtrack for a journey colored by dreamlike landscapes. A masterpiece unfortunately underappreciated, surely among the top 10 ambient albums of the '90s alongside "Stalker" by Rich & Lustmord, "Substrata" by Biosphere, "Heresy" by Lustmord, "Mi Media Naranja" and "Prazision" by Labradford, "Sakura" by Susumu Yokota, "Mundus Subterraneus" by Lightwave, "Cold Summer" by Lull, and "Come on Die Young" by Mogwai.

Stunning to say the least! There are wonderful hidden sounds, the influences of Slint, but also a good dose of math... masterpiece!!

The dramatic thing is that you think a scientific theory is something debatable. A "scientific theory" is not just a simple "theory." Maxwell's theory of electromagnetism, for example, explains very well, and is proven by facts, how electromagnetic waves propagate in a vacuum and also in matter. Maxwell's theory contains within it a series of results known as Snell's law (on the refraction of light), Biot-Savart law (on the magnetic field generated by a current-carrying wire), Gauss's law (on the flow of the electric field from a surface), etc. All of these results were often obtained prior to the complete formulation of the Theory, so each was called a "law of..." The complex, then, of different laws, deductions, and facts forms a scientific theory that is considered the demonstration of reality until someone comes along to prove otherwise. Do you want to give it a try?

Idiot, I reported a fact, since you said something bullshit, it was useful to know what a scientific theory is.

"Darwinism is just a theory, not a law".... according to the National Academy of Sciences in the United States, a scientific theory is "a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that incorporates facts, laws, inferences, and tested hypotheses." No amount of additional validation changes a theory into a law, which is a descriptive generalization about nature. Thus, when scientists discuss the theory of evolution - or atomic theory or the theory of relativity - they are not expressing reservations about its truth.

I've listened to the albums you recommended, and they are quite far from the ones I suggested. That kind of "alternative" nu-metal doesn't really resonate with me, to be honest, but thanks anyway. P.S.: Hurt have very little in common with Tool... they're too commercial...
