It's in hidden pages like this that one understands the value of Debaser... the album is very beautiful even if, for me, it's slightly inferior to the ethereal magic of "Ocean Songs"...

Els1gm4: just the comment I expected from the typical Michael Jackson fan, relying on sales figures and meaningless charts to give artistic merit to their idol. Seen it, heard it before. As for the albums from '91, I could just take one track from "Spiderland," "Laughing Stock," "Goat," "Loveless," "Yerself is Steam," or "Sailing in the Seas of Cheese" to piss all over those various Billboard charts and other bullshit rankings. You educate yourself on these, because I don't give a damn about sales, and only an idiot would consider them to determine if an artist is more or less valid.

For me too, it is one of the albums I appreciate the most from the "Canterbury scene."

"from an artistic point of view, it absolutely shouldn't be touched!!!!!!!!", but don't worry, I won't even touch it with a fishing rod! But come on! This record is an artistic piece of TRASH. Do you have any idea what records were released in 1991??? No, I suppose not...
