Excuse me, since we are on the environmental theme, has anyone of you listened to "Persistent Repetition of Phrases" by The Caretaker? On a first listen, it seems to me one of the best of 2008 in its genre.

It's him who makes an album on his own, as in the other works, and then he himself said that this music is not far from the Eluvium project...

From the samples, it doesn't seem to add much to Eluvium's discography.

You're right, Freddy, you're too advanced for this site of bumpkins, don't waste your time here, go, run!

Dictionary, look, I think Scaruffi is great (aside from his pretentiousness that pops up here and there), he says many truths and I actually have a lot of ideas in common with him, it's just that I don’t reach the point of taking every syllable of his as gospel or believing that the greatest rock albums in history are exactly "Trout Mask Replica," "Twin Infinitives," and "Faust," and nothing else, those ones and the others are beneath. You yourself said there are about thirty albums in total that deserve five stars, and coincidentally, that's the same thing Scaruffi says. But well, in the end, I’m not that interested; it all started from the fact that you considered Axis so inferior to the other 2 Hendrix albums, which piqued my curiosity.

I don't see it that way; I see it as a way to distinguish good music from crap.

Is "Good Evening" the most terrifying greeting you can hear? It depends; if it’s said to you by a beautiful little bird, it’s well received. I haven't listened to the album, but I promise to indulge in Waits (not literally!) in the near future.

But that on Ondarock they are subject to Scaruffi's thinking is already a known fact. Besides, those few votes that differ by a tenth are the ones you've mentioned as the most distant! A sign that all the others are identical votes.

Almost all the ratings you mentioned (9 out of 14) have a variation of just one tenth compared to Scaruffi's, and I imagine you put effort into finding the more distant ones... will you ever give 4 or 5 stars to an album that Scaruffi considers insufficient? I really don’t think so.
