Incredible that there have only been 3 comments on this record in the last 5 years, considering it’s at the absolute top of the last decade according to countless charts/sites/blogs... I stumbled upon it for the first time just a few days ago and I must say that discoveries like this improve your life.
Queens of the Stone Age Songs for the Deaf

album that I unfairly overlooked thinking it was the usual commercial gimmick (perhaps due to the excessive play in venues of "No One Knows") and instead it’s a badass piece of work, one of the best alternative albums of the early last decade.

a very underrated film from what I see, thrilling, raw, and straightforward

Honestly, I don't see the masterpiece everyone is talking about. The psychological analysis of the protagonist and the dualism are interesting... but I don't know, some ideas (like the horror-like flashes) feel a bit forced to me... maybe after watching David Lynch, even films with decent ideas come off as tiresome. Cassell is excellent. The soundtrack is tiring due to its insistence; in my opinion, the editing took a step back compared to previous films. Pi Greco still remains his best film.

The electric concert was beautiful, but in my opinion, it’s the acoustic part that makes this album stand out: 15 gems, each more precious than the last... probably the best Italian live concert of the 2000s.
The Beatles Past Masters - Volumes One & Two

In the first volume, the standout tracks are "I Call Your Name" and "I Feel Fine". In the second, the level rises frighteningly; the bass lines of "Paperback Writer" and "Rain" (especially the latter) are exceptional, and then classics like "Hey Jude," "Get Back," "Don't Let Me Down," and "Let It Be" leave no doubt about the songwriting of Lennon-Macca...

How can you not love the '90s when gems like these are found in the underground?

I shall find a quiet pool in the forest and I shall be alone there often. I shall gaze into the deep, still water and that stillness will be in me. I shall sleep by my pool and dream, and I shall leave you messages in oracles and poems. Or you may dream with me, (for you are as much myself as I am you and your dreams are also my dreams) you may join me and wait through the night till the animals come to drink. Then I will show you the shape changing and we will become the animals. My magick can heal, for it comes from the place where there is no separation and we are all one, where the water of the pool merges again and is lost in the ocean.
